Contest Rules and Policies

Photo Contest Terms and Conditions

The Winter Photo Contest ("Contest") is organized by Travel Columbia Valley in partnership with Invermere-Panorama, and Radium Hot Springs ("Organizer"). By submitting an entry, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Contest is open to individuals aged 19 and above, a resident of Canada (except Quebec), except employees, staff, board of directors, or other employees or stakeholders of the Organizer.

Participants must submit original photographs ("Entries") that they have personally taken.
Entries must not infringe on the rights of any third party.
Each participant may submit up to 3 entries.
All submissions must be received by April 22^nd, 2025
Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.

By submitting an entry, participants grant the Organizer an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and publicly display the submitted photographs in any media, including but not limited to online advertising, promotional materials, and social media, without further notice or compensation.
The Organizer reserves the right to use submitted photographs for commercial purposes, including but not limited to advertisements, website content, and promotional campaigns.
Participants agree that the Organizer may edit, crop, or otherwise modify the submitted photographs as needed for usage purposes.

Participants warrant that their submissions do not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of any individual or entity.
If any individuals are identifiable in the photograph(s), participants are responsible for obtaining proper permissions or releases from such individuals. The Organizer reserves the right to request proof of such permissions.

Entries will be judged based on photo quality, creativity, and ability to showcase the Columbia Valley.
Winners will be announced on May 1st and notified via email, or phone.
Top five entries will be awarded with a $250 cash.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant or entry that violates these terms and conditions, or is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable.

The Organizer is not responsible for any technical issues, delays, or damages resulting from participation in the Contest.
By entering the Contest, participants agree to release and hold the Organizer harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or in connection with their participation.

Any personal information collected during the Contest will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Contest and will not be shared with third parties.

The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants are encouraged to review the terms periodically.

By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
